On behalf of the United States of America, I congratulate Eritreans around the world on the 34th anniversary of Eritrea’s independence. On this occasion, we recognize the deep spirit that motivates Eritrean history and culture, and our shared interest in promoting peace and prosperity for the Horn of Africa.
